Astronomy and Computers

Astronomy is nowhere without maths, just like any modern science. We will talk not so much about unsolved problems (they are, after all, about physics, not computers), but about modern tasks that require intensive use of computers: the Gaia project, radio interferometry with ultra-long bases, numerical modelling of gas dynamics, calculation of orbits over long time intervals, and so on.
