Backend-Driven UI: How We Did It and What Came Out of It

A story about implementing the Backend-Driven UI (BDUI) approach with Python at Cian. Over the past year, we built two separate BDUI languages from scratch, integrated them into a single service, tackled polymorphic and recursive Swagger schemas, taught backend developers the basics of front-end across all platforms, changed the way stakeholders think, and launched a new submission form for our first users.

This talk will be useful for developers of all levels, no extra knowledge needed — a brief intro to BDUI will be included in the presentation.
